About the role
• Run a section during service with organization and control
• Greet guests promptly and set the tone for the experience
• Guide guests through the menu with clear and accurate knowledge of food and beverage
• Take and enter orders accurately using the POS system
• Deliver food and drinks with attention to timing, pacing, and detail
• Monitor tables and respond to guest needs with awareness and urgency
• Handle checks and payments accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized section and service areas
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar, and support team
• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth, consistent service
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Contribute to a respectful and accountable team environment
• Previous serving experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage fundamentals, or a willingness to learn
• Ability to navigate a detailed menu and communicate it clearly to guests
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay organized and composed during service
• Attention to detail and awareness of guest needs
• Reliable and team-oriented
