Job Overview
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing high-quality visual and written marketing materials that support brand positioning and business objectives. This role combines creative design, content production, digital marketing, and stakeholder coordination, with a strong focus on delivering compelling campaigns within the tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Design
- Design and produce a wide range of marketing collateral, including banners, social media graphics, flyers, brochures, and advertisements across multiple formats using Canva and similar tools
- Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines and are tailored to specific platforms and target audiences
- Conceptualize and execute innovative marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and engagement
2. Video Production & Editing
- Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, websites, and promotional use using CapCut and other editing tools
- Manage the end-to-end video production process, including briefing, asset sourcing, editing, and final delivery
- Develop both short-form content (e.g., Reels, Stories) and long-form promotional videos
- Support email marketing campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking
3. Document Creation & Content Development
- Produce professional marketing materials such as proposals, media kits, capability statements, and partner briefs
- Contribute to the design and content of websites, blogs, and other digital platforms
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all written communications
4. Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Source, engage, and manage relationships with external partners, including photographers, videographers, and content creators
- Coordinate content production, asset delivery, and quality control with third-party suppliers
- Negotiate content licensing and usage rights
- Collaborate with tourism boards, industry organizations, and co-marketing partners on joint campaigns
- Act as a liaison between the marketing team and internal departments
5. File & Asset Management
- Maintain a structured and accessible digital asset management (DAM) system for all marketing materials
- Implement and uphold file naming conventions, version control, and archiving processes
- Ensure timely availability and distribution of assets to relevant stakeholders
6. Social Media & Community Management
- Manage and grow the company’s presence across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting
- Monitor engagement, respond to audience interactions, and manage community relationships
- Track and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in graphic design and content creation
- Proficiency in Canva and video editing tools such as CapCut
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, or lifestyle marketing is an advantage
