We are looking for an Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA - Full-Time.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Program.
• Licensed and in good standing in the State of Iowa and current registration (Should be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association).
• One year of experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA Job Summary:

• Prepares and provides treatments and activity programs for residents under the supervision of an OTR.
• Assists with data collection and evaluation under the supervision of the OTR.
• Completes required documentation, develops treatment goals, and coordinates treatment plans under the supervision of the OTR.
• Communicates and interacts with team members and the resident’s family or caregivers.
• Maintains equipment area, equipment, and supply inventory as required. Is responsible for the general cleanliness of the department.
• Records attendance and helps maintain monthly statistics.
• Assists in In-Service Education Program as requested.
• Assists OTR in management of Adaptive Feeding Program, may perform feeding evaluations as experience permits.
