We are seeking an experienced Caterer to join our team at our restaurant in Bloomsdale, MO. Part-time or full-time opportunity available. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a creative flair, as well as a proven track record of managing a kitchen and leading a team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Catering Events
- Develop and create new menu items that are innovative and appealing to customers
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about menu items and cooking techniques
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new cooking techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an chef or similar role
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to create innovative and appealing menu items
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
