Over the next few years, we see ourselves spreading across multiple locations in India to implement our solutions and to create an impact at scale.About the position:The Antara Foundation is embarking on an ambitious journey to develop a robust Digital Public Health Program, integrating innovative digital solutions to drive maternal and child health outcomes at scale. We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to contribute to our vision by designing and implementing impactful digital health initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital public health, working at the intersection of technology, public health, and social impact.Reporting to: Chief Strategy Officer – Digital HealthDuty Station: Delhi, with travel to program locationsResponsibilities:• Support the design, development, and implementation of digital projects supporting key TAF workstreams, including:Disseminating MNCHN knowledge to pregnant women and mothers based on health status/stage within the 1,000-day construct.On-demand capacity building for frontline health workers (FLWs).Longitudinal tracking of community health data to improve health outcomes.• Manage the development and implementation of conversational agents, digital assistants, and workflow automation tools, ensuring alignment with public health needs.• Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to develop, integrate, and maintain the digital health ecosystem.• Provide technical oversight and coordination for the development of custom digital solutions and platforms.• Work closely with program teams, community health workers, and pregnant women/mother communities in rural India to ensure user-centric design and implementation of digital tools.• Troubleshoot and improve ongoing digital initiatives by analyzing user feedback and program data.• Stay updated on emerging technologies in digital health and identify opportunities to improve program efficiency and scalability.Skills and Qualifications:Education and Experience:• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Health, or a related field.• 5-7 years of professional experience in digital health or technology-driven projects.• Experience in developing and implementing conversational agents, digital assistants, and workflow automation tools.• Experience in developing and digital courseware, microlearning content to frontline (health) workers• Experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) and their application in public health initiatives.• Previous experience in public health projects, particularly maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition (MNCHN), is highly desirable.• Hands-on experience working with community health workers and rural communities in India is a significant plus.Technical Skills:• Strong project management skills with experience managing end-to-end technology projects.• Familiarity with LLMs for developing conversational AI solutions tailored to public health use cases.• Proficiency in tools and platforms such as Twilio, Glific, Pabbly, Zapier, Make, Trello, WATI, and others.• Familiarity with custom app development and management processes.Personal Attributes:• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.• Strategic mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to improve public health outcomes.
