About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a Product Designer who has what it takes to lead end-to-end design for our projects, especially in the dynamic AdTech space. But don’t get it twisted—this isn’t about ticking off a list of requirements. You’ll need to understand the big picture, collaborate across teams, and execute like a boss.
Your mission is to create seamless, intuitive user experiences for products that help advertisers, publishers, and digital marketers. You’ll design everything from onboarding flows to dashboards packed with real-time analytics, all while making sure it looks fresh, clean, and modern.
What You'll Do:
- End-to-End Design Ownership: Lead design projects from sketch to launch. We expect you to be hands-on at every stage—research, prototyping, design systems, and testing.
- Data Meets Design: Craft sleek user interfaces for dashboards, ad campaign management tools, and analytics systems. You’ll turn complex data into digestible visuals.
- Team Player: Collaborate with our developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that designs are aligned with business goals and technical capabilities.
- Rapid Prototyping: Use tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch to whip up prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs. We move fast—so should you.
- AdTech Touch: While this isn’t a pure AdTech role, you’ll work on products that involve ad campaigns, targeting features, and creative management. Understanding these systems is a big plus, but what we really want is someone who can design innovative, user-friendly solutions.
What We Expect:
- 2+ years of product design experience. Whether you’ve worked in tech, SaaS, or AdTech, your portfolio should show that you understand both form and function.
- Fluency in Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is a must.
- Big Picture Thinker: You don’t just design for aesthetics—you design for real human impact.
- UX/UI Mastery: You know how to build intuitive experiences that feel effortless to users, and you’re comfortable with both web and mobile platforms.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: You know how to dissect complex issues, whether it’s a technical limitation or a business need, and find design solutions that make sense.
- Communication Skills: Clear articulation of design decisions is key. You’ll be collaborating with cross-functional teams, and your ability to explain your thinking is as important as the design itself.
Nice to Have:
- Some experience or understanding of AdTech systems (like DSPs, SSPs) and the broader digital marketing space.
- Familiarity with data visualization—creating analytics dashboards that track performance metrics like ROAS, CTR, or audience segmentation.
- Experience with user research and usability testing to continuously improve the product.
Why The Alter Office?
- We value ownership—you’ll have the freedom to take your ideas from concept to reality.
- Work alongside some of the most passionate and talented people who love pushing boundaries in design and tech.
- Opportunities for growth: Your role can evolve as we build out new products and projects.
