Role Summary:
The Advisory Quality Consultant (Senior Associate) supports delivery teams in strengthening delivery quality, process adherence, and risk/metric discipline across PwC Advisory projects. The role requires strong collaboration with delivery teams to ensure proactive risk management through consistent implementation of quality controls, review mechanisms, and governance practices, while enabling continuous improvement. Also, responsible for ensuring adherence to industry best practices like CMMI V2 Level 5 and ISO, executing relevant processes in enabling execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Consulting and Advisory Delivery Support
- Provide hands-on quality guidance to engagement teams on PwC’s Advisory Quality Framework, delivery expectations, and review checkpoints.
- Support teams with process adoption, documentation discipline, risk management practices, and process review readiness.
- Implement quality controls across key delivery milestones to ensure adherence to defined methods, standards, and client commitments.
- Partner with Project Managers and other quality team members to identify execution gaps and enable corrective/preventive actions.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify delivery risks early and work with teams to drive mitigation plans.
- Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and help define CAPA.
- Support risk reporting to Advisory Quality Leadership and governance forums.
Project Reviews & Compliance Checks
- Conduct health evaluation and project reviews and unearth risks consistently throughout the project life cycle. Facilitate the mitigation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Track non-conformities and follow up with teams until closure.
- Enable engagement teams in preparing firmwide/client quality reviews.
Continuous Improvement & Enablement
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate routine checks, or enhance delivery governance.
- Participate in or support Lean/Six Sigma–based improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to team-level or AC-wide quality maturity initiatives.
Metrics, Reporting & Insights
- Support engagement teams in defining and tracking delivery metrics, KPIs, and health indicators.
- Analyze trends around defects, risks, client issues, governance findings, and recommend improvements.
- Use analytical/statistical techniques (control charts, basic regression, RCA tools) & tools (Minitab, Crystal Ball, etc.) to generate insights that help teams improve delivery performance.
CMMI Exposure (Preferred)
- Apply understanding of CMMI V2.0 Level 5 practices as needed for specific engagements or clients following structured models.
- Support basic gap identification, process tailoring, or metrics alignment where CMMI-aligned practices may add value.
- Help teams understand how structured process maturity supports quality outcomes.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in quality, delivery governance, or process assurance roles within consulting, technology, or managed services.
- Understanding SDLC, Agile, hybrid delivery models, and quality frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with metrics reporting, RCA, process reviews, and quality reviews.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to partner with delivery teams and influence without authority.
