Role Description The TGT Science role at SRMPS is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum, using diverse teaching methods and resources to build conceptual understanding. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom and laboratory activities, assessing student progress through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves maintaining accurate academic records, supporting remedial and enrichment sessions, and collaborating with colleagues to integrate Science with other subjects and school activities. The teacher is also expected to participate in parent interactions, school events, and professional development initiatives that support the “MODERN GURUKUL” ethos.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Science and the ability to teach it effectively at the middle and secondary school levels.
- Analytical skills to interpret student performance data and adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills for clear classroom instruction, student guidance, and professional interactions.
- Educational background in Science or Education, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant specialization.
- Experience or capability in educational research and using evidence-based teaching practices.
- Prior teaching experience in a school setting, preferably CBSE or similar curriculum.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively, maintain discipline, and create an inclusive, learner-centered environment.
- Comfort with basic educational technology, digital resources, and continuous professional learning.
