Role Description The TGT Science role is a full-time, on-site position based at Radcliffe School in Bhopal. The educator will plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the curriculum for middle and secondary school learners, using activity-based and experiential methods. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student progress, maintaining records, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves guiding students in practical work, projects, and research-based assignments, while promoting scientific curiosity and analytical thinking. The educator will collaborate with colleagues, participate in staff meetings and school events, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Science, with the ability to teach relevant topics clearly and accurately.
- Proficient Analytical Skills to explain concepts, solve problems, and support inquiry-based learning.
- Effective Communication skills for clear classroom instruction, student engagement, and collaboration with families and staff.
- Background in Education, including knowledge of teaching methodologies, classroom management, and student assessment.
- Ability to conduct and guide age-appropriate Research activities that foster curiosity and scientific thinking.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related discipline, with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Experience teaching science at the middle or secondary school level in a structured school environment.
- Comfort using educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory teaching practices.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and enthusiasm for contributing to school initiatives and student activities.
