Core Responsibilities
- Instruction & Delivery: Prepare and deliver structured, interactive mathematics lessons aligning with the respective board curriculum (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, or State Board).
- Assessments: Design question papers, quizzes, and worksheets, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Differentiated Learning: Identify students who require additional support and implement remedial teaching strategies.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment conducive to student growth.
- Parent-Teacher Communication: Regularly update parents on student progress and discuss ways to improve academic performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (B.Sc. or B.A. with Math) from a recognized university.
- Professional Degree: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is generally mandatory or highly preferred by most institutions.
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven teaching experience in middle or secondary school classes.
- Subject Mastery: Strong conceptual understanding of core concepts like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and mensuration.
