Job Description: TGT Hindi Teacher
Location: Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)
Role Summary
A reputed CBSE School in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai is seeking a dedicated and passionate TGT Hindi Teacher to teach middle and secondary grade students. The ideal candidate should have strong command over Hindi language and literature, with the ability to make learning engaging and interactive.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Hindi to Middle and Secondary Grade students as per CBSE curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials
- Conduct assessments, assignments, and periodic evaluations
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills
- Encourage participation in debates, storytelling, and language activities
- Maintain classroom discipline and positive learning environment
- Track student progress and maintain academic records
- Participate in school academic planning and co-curricular activities
- Collaborate with academic team for overall student development
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Hindi or related discipline
- B.Ed mandatory as per CBSE norms
- Experience teaching Middle / Secondary classes preferred
- Strong command over spoken and written Hindi
- Good classroom management and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge and smart board handling preferred
