Role Description This is a full-time, on-site TGT English role based in Hyderabad. The TGT English teacher will plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with Cambridge and/or CBSE curricula for middle and secondary school learners. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, designing assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will create an inclusive classroom environment, support reading and writing skills, and integrate communicative and creative activities. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in staff meetings, communicating with families as needed, and contributing to co-curricular or language-enrichment initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and familiarity with Cambridge and/or CBSE standards.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Ability to use Translation skills where appropriate to support learners’ understanding without reducing English exposure.
- Customer Service mindset for responsive, respectful interactions with parents/guardians and other stakeholders.
- Experience in Training or mentoring students in spoken English, reading programs, debate, drama, or other language-enrichment activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching experience at middle or secondary school level, ideally within Cambridge or CBSE frameworks.
- Proficiency with basic educational technology for lesson delivery, assignments, and student progress tracking.
- Commitment to inclusive practices, student safety, and ongoing professional development.
