Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site teaching role located in Bagh. The TGT English teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students in grades 6 to 8, designing and implementing lesson plans in line with the CBSE curriculum, and fostering language and comprehension skills. Daily duties include classroom instruction, curriculum planning, assessing student progress through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will also participate in parent-teacher meetings, contribute to co-curricular activities, and assist in the holistic development of students.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English Teaching, including understanding of curriculum standards and teaching methodologies for grades 6 to 8.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Basic Translation ability and skills to facilitate student understanding where required.
- Experience in Training and mentoring students to develop their language, writing, and comprehension abilities.
- Passion for education with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Prior experience in CBSE schools and knowledge of modern teaching techniques are advantageous.
