Job Summary :
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer to design and develop customized soft furnishing solutions for residential and commercial projects in Pune.
The role involves designing furnishing collections, understanding fabric trends, coordinating with production teams, and working on bespoke B2B client projects.
Key Responsibilities Design & Product Development
- Design soft furnishing collections including curtains, cushions, runners, throws, and related products.
- Create mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts based on client requirements and trends.
- Develop innovative and functional furnishing solutions.
Client Interaction & Site Visits
- Conduct site visits in Pune to understand client themes, requirements, and measurements.
- Work closely with clients to deliver customized design solutions.
- Translate client ideas into practical and aesthetic designs.
Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with the purchase and production teams for sampling and product development.
- Ensure timely execution of designs and product delivery.
- Maintain quality standards for fabrics, stitching, and finishing.
B2B Projects
- Work on bespoke B2B furnishing projects with architects, interior designers, and contractors.
- Support project execution from concept to final delivery.
Skills & Requirements :
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Textile Design / Furnishing Design.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, weaves, embroidery, stitching, trims, and finishes.
- Understanding of design trends, color coordination, and material selection.
- Proficiency in Adobe (Photoshop/Illustrator), CorelDraw, or similar design tools.
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking skills.
- Highly responsible, disciplined, and organized.
Candidates with experience in:
- Home Furnishing / Textile Design
- Interior Design Projects
- Soft Furnishing & Fabric Selection
- B2B Client Handling
will be preferred.
