Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Textile Designer. The Textile Designer will create innovative textile patterns, including prints and embroidery, to meet clients' style and quality expectations. Responsibilities include designing graphics and textures, collaborating with design teams to understand project requirements, and staying current with industry trends to produce market-relevant designs. Additional tasks may include creating prototypes, ensuring production-grade results, and maintaining alignment with ATI Global Textiles' commitment to quality and innovation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in designing Embroidery patterns and creating Textile Prints
- Strong knowledge of Textiles and Graphic Design techniques
- Experience in creating innovative and market-relevant Graphics and visual concepts
- Ability to interpret client needs and translate concepts into tangible designs
- Understanding of textile production processes and quality control standards
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and trend awareness in the fashion and textile industry
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an advantage
