About the Role:
We are looking for a Textile/Fashion Design Intern to join our design team for Indian Ethnicwear. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in surface development, embroidery, fabric detailing, and traditional design elements, and who is eager to contribute to the creation of thoughtful, well-crafted garments. You will work closely with the team on developing design concepts, embroidery ideas, and surface stories that align with the brand’s aesthetic.
Location: Okhla Phase 1, Delhi
Type: Internship, On-site
Duration: 2 months (Starting Apr 15, 2026)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Compensation: ₹10,000/ month

PPO: This internship comes with the potential for a full-time opportunity/ PPO, depending on performance and overall fit with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in designing and developing surface concepts for ethnicwear collections
2. Work on embroidery layouts, motif placements, and embellishment ideas
3. Research and develop inspiration for Indian crafts, textile stories, trims, and finishes
4. Create moodboards, colour stories, and design references
5. Help in developing fabric swatches, embroidery samples, and surface options
6. Coordinate with the design/production team for sampling and execution
7. Support in selecting laces, borders, trims, tassels, and other surface elements
8. Assist in adapting design ideas across kurtas, suits, dupattas, and sets
9. Maintain design files, references, and sample documentation
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Technical Skills
1. Basic understanding of surface design, embroidery, and textile development
2. Familiarity with Indian embroidery techniques and embellishment styles
3. Strong sense of colour, composition, motif balance, and placement
4. Ability to create or contribute to moodboards, design references, and concept boards
5. Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or similar design tools
6. Basic sketching or motif development skills are a plus

1. Strong attention to detail
2. Good visual and aesthetic sensibility
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
4. Strong organisation and time management skills
5. Genuine interest in Indian ethnicwear, textiles, and craftsmanship
