Role Description
This is a part-time online Textbook Designer Intern position. The intern will assist in designing and formatting textbooks, ensuring that layouts are visually appealing and organized for effective learning. Responsibilities include collaborating with the content team, customizing book layouts to suit client requirements, incorporating visuals and graphics, proofreading designs, and adhering to branding guidelines. The role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines while accommodating feedback. It is a one-month paid internship with some stipend. Need is urgent by 27th March.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and Layout Tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop or Canva.
- Strong attention to detail and familiarity with textbook design principles, including typography and formatting. Familiarity with Gujarati language is necessary.
- Ability to incorporate visuals, illustrations, and infographics effectively into textbook layouts
- Time management skills, organization, and responsiveness to deadlines and feedback
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration
- Prior experience or knowledge in educational content design will be considered a plus
- Proactive approach to learning and willingness to take initiative
