This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Lead Web Developer who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company's technical offerings. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations. Create visually appealing and user-friendly websites using standard HTML/CSS practices, ensuring responsiveness across various devices. Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript for front-end development and server-side languages like Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, or ASP.NET for back-end development. Manage and maintain databases using systems like SQL or Oracle, ensuring data integrity and security. Perform routine site audits and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal performance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to loading times and error messages. Work closely with designers, programmers, and other team members to produce cohesive and efficient web solutions. Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance website functionality and user experience. Manage all aspects of the website including content, design, functionality, and performance. Coordinate with web developers, designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to implement website updates and enhancements. Ensure the website meets accessibility, usability, and security standards. Develop and implement SEO plans Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to web development and digital marketing. Develop and maintain documentation related to website processes, procedures, and updates. Provide training and support to internal users on website management tools and processes.
