Job Summary
We are looking for a Testing Lead specializing in embedded hardware to drive end-to-end lab testing strategy, setup, and execution for EV and battery systems. This role will focus on building and managing testing infrastructure, validating hardware systems, and ensuring product reliability through robust lab testing processes.
🎯 What You Will Do
- Define and implement end-to-end lab testing strategy for embedded hardware, battery systems, and electrical components.
- Plan, set up, and scale lab testing infrastructure, including test benches, instrumentation, and validation setups.
- Lead testing and validation of embedded hardware such as BMS, controllers, PCB assemblies, and power electronics.
- Design and execute test cases for functionality, reliability, performance, and safety validation.
- Establish and standardize test protocols, procedures, and documentation for lab testing activities.
- Oversee data acquisition, logging, and analysis to derive insights and improve product quality.
- Drive debugging and root cause analysis for hardware and system-level failures.
- Ensure lab readiness, including equipment calibration, safety compliance, and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and design teams for validation, issue resolution, and product improvements.
- Mentor and guide team members while building structured testing processes and practices.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Embedded Systems or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded hardware testing, validation, or electronics testing domains.
- Strong hands-on experience in testing PCB, BMS, embedded controllers, and electronic systems.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing lab testing infrastructure and environments.
- Familiarity with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, data loggers, CAN tools, etc.
- Understanding of embedded systems and communication protocols like CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Strong experience in test planning, execution, debugging, and failure analysis.
- Good documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in EV, battery systems, or power electronics is preferred.
- Basic exposure to system or vehicle-level integration is a plus (good to have).
