Job Title: Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Building Management Systems (BMS)
Location: Delhi / Gurgaon / Mumbai / Chennai / Bangalore
Experience: 4-7 years of experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to support the design, engineering, testing, and commissioning of Building Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with BMS/SCADA systems, communication protocols, and site commissioning activities, along with the ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, development, testing, and commissioning of Building Automation / BMS systems
- Engineering and programming of BMS, SCADA, PLC, and DDC systems
- Development of BMS/SCADA/HMI graphic screens
- Perform I/O loop checks, functional testing, and system validation
- Ensure proper integration using BACnet, Modbus, OPC protocols (IP, Ethernet, MS/TP)
- Execute site commissioning activities and resolve technical issues during startup
- Provide technical support to clients during and after project handover
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Stay updated with current trends in automation and instrumentation and implement modern control architectures
- Prepare commissioning reports, test documents, and as-built documentation
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning
- Hands-on knowledge of SCADA, PLC, DDC systems
- Good understanding of BACnet, Modbus, OPC communication protocols
- Experience in BMS graphics and HMI development
- Basic knowledge of SQL database programming
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently at site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited college or university
- 4-7 years of experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning
