Test Engineer:
Quality isn't a phase at Verity. It's a mindset! As our Test Engineer, you make sure every data point, every calculation, every meter reading is exactly right before it reaches the real world.
The Role in One Paragraph:
You own the end-to-end quality validation of Verity's data processing solution — from time series consumption to calculated meter prices. You design test cases, drive automation and work closely with functional analysts and software engineers to catch issues before they reach production.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up test data across multiple environments.
- Write test cases and detailed test specifications.
- Execute tests with varied parameters and scenarios.
- Build and maintain test automation.
- Validate performance and scalability of the full solution.
- Identify, document and communicate software defects.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues alongside engineers.
- Report test progress transparently to the team.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing.
- Experience with multiple test methodologies, including product-oriented testing.
- Comfortable working in an Agile / DevOps environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with analysts and engineers.
- Experience with Time Series databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud components is a plus.
