Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Documentation: Exhibit end-to-end expertise in documenting crucial project milestones including Test Scoping, Test Estimations, Test Strategies, Test Plans, Detailed Test Scripts, Daily Status Reports (DSR), and comprehensive Test Completion Reports.
- Network Testing & Execution: Lead and conduct hands-on network testing across enterprise-grade infrastructure components such as Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
- Test Management & Tracking: Utilize modern test management frameworks and tools including Jira and HPQC to track bugs, manage test cases, and log execution progress.
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Leverage network management systems to observe, benchmark, and report network stability during structural tests.
- Customer Collaboration: Serve as a core technical point of contact during project updates, ensuring clear, professional, and efficient communication directly with customers.
- Operational Flexibility: Handle data center deployments and active hardware configurations on short notice, which may involve working weekends and outside of standard office hours.
Technical Skills And Qualifications
- Core Networking: Proven experience configuring and testing network topologies containing core routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing appliances.
- Protocols: Comprehensive working knowledge of network protocols such as BGP, BFD/BFG, OSPF, and static routing architectures.
- Testing Hardware & Tools: Solid familiarity with dedicated hardware and software testing tools like Spirent, Metrodata, Attero, and Veex.
- Network Management Tools: Familiarity with network monitoring solutions such as StableNet and SolarWinds.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to sustain deep technical interactions with client stakeholders
