Job Description – Smart Card Test Engineer
Position: Smart Card Test Engineer
Experience: 4–6 Years
Location: Bangalore
Role Summary
We are looking for a Smart Card Test Engineer with hands-on experience in black-box testing of smart card solutions. The candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, setting up the smart card validation environment, analyzing test results, and ensuring the quality of smart card applications using Windows-based test tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform black-box functional testing of smart cards using smart card readers and Windows-based test applications.
- Set up and maintain the complete smart card test environment, including card readers, smart cards, and Windows PCs.
- Execute automated and manual test cases using the existing .NET/C#-based test framework.
- Validate smart card functionality, communication, and interoperability with host systems.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and report defects with detailed logs.
- Work closely with development teams to verify fixes and support regression testing.
- Maintain test reports, test procedures, and documentation.
- Experience with Infineon smart cards and smart card communication standards is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of Windows environment, C#, OOP concepts, and debugging tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Education: BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
