- Tosca Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Tosca. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and ensure software quality through effective testing methodologies. The engineer will focus on optimizing the testing process and improving release efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Tosca.
- Collaborating with developers and QA teams to ensure test coverage.
- Implementing and maintaining Tosca automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Integrating Tosca with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Analyzing test results, reporting defects, and working with development teams for resolution.
- Providing guidance and support on test automation best practices to the QA team.
- Proficiency in Tosca Commander, Tosca Execution, Tosca API testing/UI Testing, and Manual Testing.
- Experience in test automation framework development and implementation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience in integrating Tosca with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or VBScript) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
