Job Title: Test Engineer
Position: SSE

Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 Days WFO)
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium automation, Java, and knowledge of the FedNow payments domain. The candidate will be responsible for validating real-time payment applications, automating test scenarios, and ensuring high-quality delivery of payment processing systems integrated with FedNow services.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using: Selenium WebDriver Java TestNG/JUnit
- Create automated test scripts for: Functional testing Regression testing Integration testing End-to-end payment workflows
- Implement reusable and maintainable automation components
FedNow & Real-Time Payments Testing
- Validate real-time payment transaction workflows using FedNow standards
- Test: Credit transfers Payment requests Acknowledgements and confirmations Settlement and reconciliation flows
- Verify message processing, transaction statuses, and response handling
- Ensure compliance with real-time payment processing requirements and financial regulations
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
must to have:
API & Backend Testing
- Perform REST API testing using: Postman REST Assured
- Validate backend data using SQL queries
- Test integrations between banking/payment applications and FedNow interfaces
Defect Management & Quality Assurance
- Analyze business and technical requirements
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test data
- Log, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar tools
- Participate in root cause analysis and quality improvements
Good to have:
CI/CD & Agile Collaboration
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
