Project Role : Test Automation Lead
Project Role Description : Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automation test engineer with hands on java coding experience to join our QA team who has expertise in Java & Selenium. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in test automation, functional testing, and a willingness to work in the collaborative shift (till 11 PM IST - 2nd shift) with hands-on experience of 5 years.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure efficient and effective test coverage.
Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Perform functional testing to verify that the software meets specified requirements and functions correctly.
Work closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve identified issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work in the 2nd shift as required by the project needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks
Strong understanding of functional testing methodologies and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong communication skills to articulate issues and resolutions effectively
5+ years of test automation experience using Java or groovy
3+ years of hands on coding experience with Java is must
5+ years of experience in planning, designing, developing, and executing tests
5+ years of experience with TestNG/Selenium/Spock framework
2+ years of experience in building test automation frameworks from scratch
2+ years of experience testing databases and backend systems
2+ years of experience testing front end applications
Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools
Prior experience working in an agile/scrum environment with a solid understanding of QA and SW development processes and methodologies.
