We are looking for Test Automation Engineer (SAP – EDI).
Before our software developers write even a single line of code, they have to understand what drives our customers. What is the environment? What is the user story based on? Implementation means – trying, testing, and improving outcomes until a final solution emerges. Knowledge means exchange – discussions with colleagues from all over the world.
You’ll Make a Difference By
- Building and maintaining automated test solutions using Python and Playwright
- Developing reusable automation components for test execution, monitoring, validation, and reporting
- Automating validation of EDI messages such as EDIFACT, XML, and IDocs across inbound and outbound flows
- Performing field-level validation across EDI messages, CPI payloads, IDocs, and SAP business documents
- Using Playwright for UI automation wherever business process steps need to be validated
- Validating SAP business outcomes such as Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Deliveries, etc.
- Working with SAP CPI / Integration Suite logs and monitoring APIs for end-to-end validation
- Supporting parameterized test data creation and reusable test case design
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Contributing to AI-assisted failure analysis and smart reporting where applicable
Job Requirements/ Skills
- 5 to 10 years of full-time hands-on experience in software / test automation
- Strong Python skills and strong Playwright experience for UI automation
- Experience in EDI testing
- Good understanding of SAP CPI / Integration Suite, SAP S/4HANA validation and related business flows
- Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab
- Good debugging skills across payloads, logs, and SAP results
- Experience in building reusable and scalable automation frameworks
- Exposure to L2C and P2P business flows is preferred
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, LLMs, or AI tools is good to have
- Exposure to API testing, event-driven integration testing and performance testing is an advantage
- Experience with SAP OData or backend validation is an advantage
