Roles and Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and automation approaches aligned with project goals and release timelines. Define test scope, coverage, entry/exit criteria.
- Test Design & Execution: Design, develop, and execute test scripts to validate application functionality and ensure high-quality software releases. Perform web-based application testing, API testing, and batch processing validation for solutions. Ensure adequate regression, functional, and integration test coverage.
- Defect Management: Analyze test results, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis where applicable. Log, track, prioritize, and manage defects to closure, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Validate fixes through re-testing and regression testing.
- Automation Framework & CI/CD: Enhance, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks, scripts, and testing tools. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support automated test execution as part of build and release processes.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives. Align testing activities with agile development timelines and delivery commitments.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and publish test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards for stakeholders. Provide clear, actionable insights on test status, risks, and overall quality trends. Document test cases, results, and testing artifacts in accordance with project standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies, automation effectiveness, and QA processes. Promote best practices in test automation, quality engineering, and defect prevention.
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in Manual and Automation Testing
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress (preferred)
- Test case design, execution, and defect management
- Automation framework development and CI/CD integration
- API, web, and regression testing knowledge
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Test reporting, metrics, and quality analysis
- Continuous improvement and QA best practices
Education: Any Graduation in Computer Application, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Tele Communication Engineering, or Electronics Design & Technology.
