What To Expect
The Role

As Tesla’s Strategic Business Planning Manager for the Japan market, you will drive transformative growth by aligning business strategy, marketing innovation, and operational excellence. This role develops and implements plans to materialize the company’s strategy, conducts research and data analysis to inform business decisions, and aligns department goals with the overall strategy. They also monitor industry trends, provide insights into organizational changes, cross-functional collaboration, aggressive execution, and support senior executives in making effective decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute Japan-specific business strategies, including market entry/expansion plans, marketing campaigns, and sales growth initiatives, leveraging data analytics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Design and implement advanced sales analytics frameworks (e.g., demand forecasting, pricing models, ROI analysis) to optimize inventory, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition efforts.
  • Lead high-impact projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals. Manage key internal/external stakeholders and foster collaboration across global and local teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance).
  • Optimize order operations and sales processes, prioritizing efficiency and scalability. Deliver actionable insights through advanced sales analytics to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion Tesla’s brand vision in Japan, designing innovative marketing strategies and partnerships to strengthen market presence. Maintain a relentless focus on results, balancing agility with long-term strategic rigor.
