What You'll Do
You will work closely with hardware and software engineering teams to take robot design in initial concept through prototype development and into full productionProvide manufacturing insights during product definition to streamline design for manufacturingDrive the development of manufacturing line from initial concept to full-scale productionSpearhead the in-house development of innovative and intricate prototype manufacturing equipment in low volume lineFormulate assembly sequences and define critical quality parameters for efficient productionPartner closely with the technician team to swiftly implement design modifications on the production line and expedite the robot’s assemblyLead internal/external equipment suppliers to design production equipment in high volume lineIdentify and troubleshoot a diverse range of challenging mechanical, electrical, software, control, data, and algorithmic issuesCalculate equipment capacity and line balancing
What You'll Bring
Mindset to apply first principles for problem solvingProficiency in CAD tools (Catia and AutoCAD preferred)Proficiency in mechanical assembly (press fits, fastener selection, harness, etc)Proficiency in electrical integration, quality matrix, testing and trouble shootingFamiliar with torque tools, automation equipment, control systems and communication protocolExperience in transitioning products from prototype to productionAble to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlinesExemplary verbal and written communication skillsWell-organized with meticulous attention to detailBachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Expected Compensation
$112,000 - $234,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
