Software Developer, IT Application Internship

As a software developer intern, your focus will be on the various aspects of our financial and sales-oriented backend applications where you will work closely together with other experienced developers on regional projects in addition to urgent, immediate changes. The objective is to optimize and expand existing applications developed in-house, which provide a competitive advantage and are an essential part of our business.

It is an exciting and demanding position that requires to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-moving, collaborative environment. You will also become familiar with communication and operational skills in addition to technical skills, and the ability to work with a variety of parties, such as project managers, software engineers, quality engineers, release engineers and, of course, business stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Get experience in how to collaborate with other cross-functional teams such as product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to own your solution from start to deployment

Get experience to handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel

Get experience in working in a dynamic, fast-moving, agile development environment

Continually learn, set, teach, apply software best practices, tools and technologies

Investigate root cause of failures to drive continual improvement

What You'll Bring

Experience the latest backend web stack (C#, Java, Node.js, Python etc.)

Experience in latest software development frameworks (preferably .NET Core)

Experience in RESTful web services and web applications

Experience in SQL (MSSQL, MySQL etc.)

Experience in source control management systems (preferably Git/Bitbucket and JIRA)

Knowledge of latest frontend web stack (Angular, React etc.).

Knowledge of test automation frameworks

Knowledge of event / message queueing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.)

Level C1 in English (written and spoken)
