Insurance Analyst

We are seeking an Insurance Analyst for Tesla Insurance to assist with our personal auto business. The analyst will be responsible for regulatory compliance reporting, data needs for audits and market conduct examinations, performing deep dive analyses based on business results, and providing analytical support to all insurance functions. They will be a core member of the team responsible for Tesla insurance compliance, growth, and profitability. What You'll Do Ensure regulatory compliance reports are submitted timely and accurately Provide analytical support for internal/external audits, financial exams, and market conduct exams Develop analytical tools to help the business effectively manage existing portfolios Work closely with product management to develop and enhance pricing and underwriting strategies Monitor business performance, identify issues and propose solutions to improve results, and effectively communicate to the management What You'll Bring Bachelors in Mathematics or equivalent experience 1+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in insurance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work well both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in SQL and Python Strong business and collaboration skills Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
