EPC Project Management Internship (m/w/d) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

What To Expect
We are seeking a motivated Project Management Intern to join our team in Tesla Engineering, Procurement & construction (EPC). In this role, you will collaborate closely with our teams and experience ongoing brownfield and greenfield construction activities. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience by working with a diverse group of internal stakeholders - including engineering, procurement, quality, facility management, and manufacturing teams - as well as external partners, such as specialized contractors. Together, we’ll work towards achieving our ambitious project goals while offering you a comprehensive understanding of project management in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the projects are executed safely, adheres to high-quality standards, remains on track and in between our budget

Develop biddable work packages and verify contractor bids against cost and schedule estimates

If needed, meet with contractors digitally / in person to discuss potential scopes or questions directly

Assist in reporting on construction progress, highlighting risks, as well as schedule and budget variances

Collaborate to resolve any technical obstacles that hinder project completion and success

Gain experience in design development, permitting strategies, project documentation and administration

Help to bring project to a success

What You'll Bring

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical, civil), technical project management, facility management, or construction management) in Germany

Fluency in English required; German proficiency is a plus

Willingness to spend significant time in the field with a hands-on approach

Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Basic knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder collaboration

Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with ambitious goals

Living in / around Berlin is preferred
