As a Graphic Designer Intern in the EMEA External Communications teams, you’ll work closely with the global Design Studio to deliver visually compelling creative assets that support Tesla’s mission. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the consistent execution of product launches, sales incentives and campaigns across channels. You’ll help develop content for digital channels including email and produce assets for display in retail stores and at trade shows.
Your work will enable the team to maintain its high design standards while meeting the growing demand for creative content across the region. You’ll be responsible for bringing complex ideas to life through engaging visuals that resonate with diverse audiences. You’ll uphold brand guidelines and ensure all assets align with Tesla’s creative identity.
What You'll Do
Creative Asset Development: Deliver high-quality visual materials for digital channels and printed assetsBrand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to Tesla’s brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive and consistent visual identity across all markets and channels Localised Design: Adapt global creative concepts to meet market-specific needs, ensuring relevance while preserving brand integrity. This will include adding localised copy to campaign assets to meet market needsCollaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and deliver visually impactful solutionsAsset Management: Organise and maintain the creative asset library to ensure efficient access to and reuse of design materialsTrend Awareness: Stay informed of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continuously elevate the quality of Tesla’s creative outputFeedback Integration: Work with internal stakeholders to incorporate feedback and ensure timely delivery of assets that meet business requirements and creative standards
What You'll Bring
Enrolled in education related to Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related field for the whole internship periodExperience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with Figma and other collaborative design tools is a plusGood understanding of branding principles, typography, layout, colour theory, and composition to ensure consistency across all materials Familiarity with cultural nuances, design trends and market preferences across EMEAGood attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environmentLevel C1 in English (verbal and written) and able to effectively present design concepts and collaborate with team members and stakeholdersSome experience in graphic design preferred - a portfolio showcasing a range of work across digital and print
