Cyber Security Incident Response Engineer

Cybersecurity Incident Response Engineer As a Cybersecurity Incident Response Engineer, you will be responsible for managing cyber security incident response, including incident detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery. You will work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to ensure the organization's critical systems and data are protected. Responsibilities: - Respond to security incidents and events, including analyzing and triaging alerts from various security tools - Investigate security incidents and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution - Perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation actions to prevent future incidents - Maintain and continuously improve incident response processes and procedures - Contribute to the development and implementation of security monitoring and incident response strategies - Collaborate with IT, development, and other teams to enhance the organization's security posture - Participate in security awareness training and knowledge sharing initiatives - Provide regular reporting on security incidents and the overall security state of the organization Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity incident response and management - Strong understanding of security protocols, tools, and best practices - Proficient in incident analysis, triage, and root cause identification - Familiarity with SIEM tools, threat hunting, and incident response frameworks - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to be on-call and respond to security incidents outside of normal business hours
