About the role

To support Tesco Business by ensuring accuracy of promotions, cost and product details loaded. To quality check the tasks carried out by the team in line with defined frameworks.
 Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco processes
 Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques. 
- Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's
- Solves problems by analyzing solution alternatives 
- Understanding business needs and having in depth knowledge of the C&P Buying processes
- Ensuring accurate setup of new product lines, promotions, amendments, cost price and selling price through 100%       quality audits. Ensuring compliance with price & promotion policies and maintain critical path.
- Keeping self up to date with process changes and ensuring process documents are updated to reflect the same
- Drive improvements through use of CI and digital tools and share insights with markets through operational reports
- Building strong relationships with buyers and suppliers through regular interactions 
- Ensuring transition of process knowledge to associates & share  
- Helping colleagues by pro-actively providing administrative support, with integrity
- Investigating supplier queries & ensuring audit compliance 
- Providing accurate data/information that supports departments in decision making & facilitates smooth trade
  • Relevant functional experience in Buying Operations
