The Role of Maths Teachers

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and developing students' language skills, critical thinking, and love for reading and writing. You will foster confidence, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for Maths by delivering an engaging and creative curriculum.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who can demonstrate:

• Strong Subject Knowledge: Expertise in Secondary Maths, with a thorough understanding of the curriculum and its application at A-Level.
• Engaging Learning Environment: The ability to create a stimulating and interactive classroom that motivates and excites students about learning.
• Awareness of UK Educational Initiatives: Experience with current developments in UK education, including best practices and curriculum changes.
• Commitment to Excellence: A passion for teaching, with a strong drive to help students reach their full potential and maintain the highest standards.
• Fostering 21st Century Skills: An ability to promote creative thinking and the development of key skills, preparing students for success in a rapidly changing world.
• Tech-Savvy Teaching: Confidence in integrating technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences and support student development.
• Data-Driven Approach: Experience in using assessments and data to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide tailored support.

Qualifications And Experience

Applicants must be fluent English speakers, hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in schools that follow the National Curriculum of England.

• Proven ability to teach across A-Level Maths
• Experience teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students is desirable but not essential.
