Role Description The Territory Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for driving sales growth and market presence for BUCHI Laboratory Equipment within the assigned territory. This role includes identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Daily tasks involve conducting product presentations and demonstrations, providing technical guidance to customers, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and support. The Territory Sales Manager will also handle customer inquiries, attend industry events and trade shows, prepare sales reports and forecasts, and deliver training sessions for customers and channel partners. Collaboration with marketing and product teams to implement local sales strategies is a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with a proven ability to achieve targets and manage a territory or customer portfolio.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and educational sessions for customers and partners.
- Experience in laboratory equipment, scientific instrumentation, or related technical sales is highly beneficial.
- Relevant academic background in science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving abilities, with readiness to travel within the territory as needed.
- Comfort using CRM tools, salesforce,MS Office, and digital communication platforms to manage leads, opportunities, and reporting.
- Experience in managing channel partners, dealers
