Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ludhiana, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Territory Sales Incharge will manage sales activities within assigned territories, including generating leads, visiting customers, and building strong, long-term client relationships. Daily responsibilities include meeting existing and potential customers, understanding their product requirements, preparing quotations, negotiating terms, and closing sales in line with company targets. The role involves coordinating with internal teams on order processing, delivery timelines, and after-sales support to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The Territory Sales Incharge will also monitor market trends, track competitor activities, provide regular sales reports, and conduct basic product training or demonstrations for customers and channel partners as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build rapport, handle inquiries, and maintain professional relationships.
- Proven Sales experience, including territory management, lead conversion, and achievement of sales targets.
- Experience or aptitude in Sales Management and Training to guide channel partners, distributors, or junior team members.
- Ability to work independently in the field, plan effective customer visits, and manage time and priorities efficiently.
- Familiarity with industrial products or manufacturing sectors; experience with V-belts or power transmission products is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and digital communication platforms.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and a valid means of local travel.
