Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Territory Sales Executive role based in Solapur. The Territory Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers, managing existing accounts, and driving sales growth for Truzon Solar’s residential, commercial, and industrial solutions in the assigned territory. Daily activities include prospecting through field visits and calls, conducting site assessments with the technical team, preparing proposals, and delivering presentations to decision-makers. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for pricing, design, and installation timelines, as well as ensuring timely follow-up on leads, inquiries, and customer issues. The Territory Sales Executive will also track market trends, gather competitor insights, and regularly report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in B2C and/or B2B field sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, electrical, or related industries.
- Proficiency in lead generation, territory management, and account management, including pipeline building, opportunity tracking, and follow-up.
- Ability to conduct customer meetings, deliver clear product presentations, and explain technical and commercial benefits in simple terms.
- Comfort using basic digital tools (CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software) to manage leads, proposals, and reports.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first and solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in the field with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant sales experience may be considered in place of formal education.
- Basic understanding of solar energy systems or willingness to quickly learn technical and regulatory aspects of solar projects.
- Fluency in local language(s) and working proficiency in English; familiarity with the Solapur
