Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nanded for a Territory Market Development Lead. The role involves monitoring and promoting the adoption of high-quality seeds, coordinating with sales teams to meet targets, and strategizing to expand the market reach. The candidate will work closely with production growers, oversee agricultural activities, and ensure the efficient implementation of company strategies. Additionally, they will conduct field demonstrations, provide necessary guidance to farmers, and facilitate partnerships in the local agribusiness community.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in agricultural practices, crop management, and hybrid seed adoption
• Proven expertise in sales, market development, and strategy implementation in the agriculture industry
• Skills in farmer engagement, training, and conducting field demonstrations effectively
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to interact with production growers and stakeholders
• Analytical abilities for market analysis and identifying growth opportunities
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agribusiness, or a related field
• Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with the Nanded region are an advantage
• Self-motivation and capability to work independently with minimal supervision
