Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Territory Manager role based in Bhopal. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing sales and distribution activities within the assigned territory, including meeting dealers, channel partners, and key customers on a regular basis. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, monitoring market trends, planning promotional activities, and ensuring effective product positioning in the territory. The role involves conducting product demonstrations, training channel partners’ teams, and coordinating closely with service and marketing colleagues to support customer satisfaction. The Territory Manager will also prepare regular sales forecasts and reports, maintain accurate territory data, and provide feedback to leadership on market opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in territory sales, field marketing, or channel management, preferably in machinery, automotive, or agricultural equipment.
- Strong skills in relationship management, negotiation, and customer service to effectively support dealers and end customers.
- Ability to analyze territory performance data, prepare reports, and use insights to plan and execute sales strategies.
- Comfort with on-site field work, frequent travel within the territory, and hands-on product demonstrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication skills in English and relevant local languages, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while meeting targets and deadlines.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools) for tracking sales and reporting.
