Role Description
As a full-time Territory Manager at Ashok Leyland, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, promoting products, managing client relationships, and driving business growth in the assigned territory. This on-site role, based in Madurai, involves market analysis, developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and provide valuable feedback to improve product offerings and services.
Qualifications
- Sales and marketing skills, including expertise in customer acquisition, client relationship management, and achieving revenue targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams
- Data analysis and problem-solving abilities to identify market trends and address challenges
- Proficiency in industry-specific knowledge, including commercial vehicle products and transportation needs
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a territory
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Prior experience in the automobile or commercial vehicle industry is advantageous
