This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with commercial & industrial customers, developing a structured sales pipeline by identifying sources to generate leads, and helping create scalable customer acquisition systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with company leadership to establish and grow business in Delhi NCR by identifying and establishing strategic account relationships, and support the expansion of SolarMaxx across key industrial sectors in and around Delhi NCR and North India.
Account Development
- Identify and engage prospective C&I customers across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, food processing, textiles, engineering, automotive, pharmaceuticals and related industries.
- Build relationships with CXOs, plant heads, finance leaders, procurement teams and business owners.
- Develop and maintain strategic account plans for key prospects.
- Create stakeholder maps and relationship strategies for target accounts.
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Build and manage a structured pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Generate meetings through direct outreach, networking, referrals and industry events.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and target sectors.
- Track and improve lead conversion metrics.
CRM Management
- Drive CRM adoption and pipeline discipline.
- Ensure all leads, opportunities and customer interactions are documented.
- Create dashboards and reports for management review.
- Develop scalable sales processes and operating procedures.
Qualifications (Preferred Background)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or strategic account management.
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in one or more of the following:
- Solar EPC
- Renewable energy
- Electrical equipment
- Industrial automation
- Energy management solutions
- Industrial machinery
- Engineering services
- Industrial infrastructure
