General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO)

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to the posts of General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) on contract basis in Territorial Army. Candidates should possess MBBS degree and registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Selected candidates will be posted at various locations as per the requirement of Territorial Army. Essential Qualifications: 1. MBBS degree from a recognized University. 2. Registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Age Limit: 21 to 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Job Description: 1. To provide medical care and treatment to troops and their families. 2. To attend to emergency cases and carry out minor surgical procedures. 3. To maintain medical records and report medical data. 4. To implement disease prevention and control measures. 5. To carry out any other duties as assigned by the Commanding Officer.
