Description

Title: Intern

Classification: Part Time

Status: NonExempt 


Position Summary:

The Intern will provide support to the assigned department by assisting with day-to-day operations, administrative tasks, and special projects. This position is designed to offer hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to real-world business operations while contributing to the organization’s goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily administrative and operational tasks within the department
  • Support team members with ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Collect, organize, and maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Conduct research, data entry, and basic analysis as assigned
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed
  • Attend meetings and take notes when required
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department needs

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university
  • Pursuing a degree related to the assigned department preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); additional software a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude and willingness to learn

Work Environment:

  • Office or operational setting depending on department assignment
  • May require sitting, standing, and use of standard office equipment
  • Schedule may be part-time or full-time depending on program requirements
