Position: Sr. Java J2EE Developer

Location: Kolkata

Full time permanent position

Education:

MTech/ BTech/BS in Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics or MCA or a related field.

Experience: 5-7+ years.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing, testing and deploying database-driven applications using Java/J2EE-based technologies, RDBMS and technologies such as VB.NET

  2. Interfacing with the internal business team to define requirements; develop code, and test solutions.

  3. Documenting technical design specifications and devising/executing unit test plans. Participating in code reviews.

  4. Each project will require various technical skills and therefore requires a well-rounded, experienced, and adaptable individual.

  5. Working independently and as a member of a team spread over different time zones.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Essential: 5-7+ years in a software engineering role and HANDS-ON development experience in JAVA J2EE Spring Hibernate.

  Core JAVA – server side

  JSP

  Struts

  Servlet

  Spring, Spring Boot

  JDBC drivers

  Hibernate

  Knowledge of Application Servers( JBOSS, WILDFLY and Web Services(SOAP/REST).

  Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.

  Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.

  Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills / Tools Knowledge

• Concept of .NET technologies good to have
