About the role
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Support new braiding projects, including learning braiding technologies and assisting with new product development and technical problem‑solving.
- Support new weaving projects, including learning weaving technologies and contributing to new product development and issue resolution.
- Learn and assist with laboratory testing methods, such as abrasion testing and other material performance evaluations.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams including Product Engineering, Sales, and Applications Engineering to support development and commercialization efforts.
Skills that the intern will take away:
- Understanding of basic textile technologies
- Exposure to and understanding of product development processes
- Development of analytical thinking skills for technical evaluation
