Role Description The Tendering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process for analytical instruments and related services. Day-to-day tasks include identifying relevant tender opportunities, analyzing tender documents and technical specifications, preparing compliant proposals, and coordinating with internal technical and sales teams to gather required information. The role involves maintaining tender documentation, tracking submission deadlines, ensuring adherence to company policies and customer requirements, and supporting negotiation and clarification activities with clients and procurement bodies. The Tendering Specialist will also contribute to pricing strategies, maintain tender databases and records, and support continuous improvement of tender processes to enhance win rates.
Qualifications
- Strong tender management skills, including experience in evaluating tender documents and coordinating complete tender submissions.
- Well-developed analytical skills to interpret technical requirements, commercial terms, and competitive landscapes.
- Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with internal stakeholders and interact professionally with clients and procurement authorities.
- Proficiency in proposal writing, with attention to detail, clarity, and alignment with tender specifications.
- Understanding of procurement processes and practices, preferably within industrial or scientific instrumentation sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field; experience in analytical instrumentation or similar technical domain is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
- Comfort with MS Office and relevant business software for documentation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work accurately, uphold ethical standards in tendering, and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
