Position Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Tendering Specialist to manage the complete lifecycle of government and railway tenders. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IREPS (Indian Railways E-Procurement System), GeM, CPP Portal, and other e-procurement platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Search, monitor, and identify relevant tenders on IREPS, GeM, CPP Portal, and State Government e-Procurement portals.
- Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, commercial terms, and contractual conditions.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within prescribed timelines.
- Prepare compliance statements, technical documentation, declarations, BOQs, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Finance, and Management teams for bid preparation.
- Handle EMD, Tender Fees, Performance Security, e-Bank Guarantees, and other tender-related documentation.
- Track corrigenda, bid status, clarifications, reverse auctions, and award notifications.
- Coordinate with customers for pre-bid meetings and technical clarifications.
- Maintain a centralized database of tenders, bid submissions, and contract documents.
- Support post-award documentation, purchase order review, and contract execution activities.
- Ensure complete compliance with tender requirements and company policies.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with IREPS, GeM, CPP Portal, and other e-tendering platforms.
- Good understanding of Indian Railways procurement procedures and government tendering.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and commercial conditions.
- Strong documentation, drafting, and compliance preparation skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Effective communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Railway, Electronics, Electrical, IoT, Manufacturing, or Industrial Automation industries.
- Knowledge of RDSO specifications, Railway vendor registration, and procurement processes will be an added advantage.
